Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

Scope

This policy covers the public Agents.mu website, its contact and newsletter forms, its browser-based educational tools, and its optional AI assistant.

Information you provide

The contact form can collect your name, email address, organisation, topic, and message. Newsletter sign-up collects an email address. Please do not submit credentials, customer records, personal data about other people, contracts, prices, unpublished business plans, or other confidential information.

Browser tools

The workflow builder, automation decider, and glossary run in your browser. Your selections are not sent to us or saved by those tools. Copy and print actions stay under your browser's control.

AI assistant

If you open the AI assistant and acknowledge its notice, the messages you choose to send are passed to our AI service provider to generate a response. Do not use the assistant for confidential work, security incidents, legal decisions, or production-agent approval. The assistant provides general education and may be incomplete or wrong.

Analytics and technical data

When analytics is enabled, we use a privacy-oriented analytics service to understand page visits and basic usage patterns. Google Analytics 4 is loaded only if you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit: nothing is loaded and no analytics cookie is written before that, a decline is remembered for 180 days, and no advertising signals are enabled. Our hosting and security services may also process technical logs such as request time, browser information, and network address for delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention.

How we use information

We use information to respond to messages, manage subscriptions, operate and secure the site, understand aggregate usage, correct content, and improve the educational tools. We do not sell personal information or use contact and newsletter data to make automated decisions about you.

Service providers and transfers

We may use providers for hosting, content management, email delivery, subscription management, analytics, security, and AI responses. They process information only to provide those services and may operate outside Mauritius, subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, security, or dispute handling. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your rights

The Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 provides rights over personal data, subject to the Act. These may include asking for access, correction, or erasure, or objecting to certain processing. Contact us to make a request.

Business and automation notice

Articles, tools, generated examples, and AI responses are general education. They are not legal, financial, cybersecurity, procurement, or implementation advice, and they do not certify that a vendor, workflow, or agent is safe or suitable. Verify claims and obtain qualified review for your organisation.
